When I saw this beat up Kirsten, I could see that underneath that dye transfer was a beautiful doll, ready to shine. She is, after all, a 1989 Kirsten doll with the white body version of tinsel hair (a bit less coarse than the 1991/92 cousin), and seafoam blue eyes.
Not only does poor Kirsten have A LOT of dye transfer on her face, but it is on her arms and legs too. Not only that, but she must have been stored somewhere hot because both eyes have silvered, with one developing bubble eye on the pupil.
Kirsten also has a torn body that will need to have some sewing repair work. For now, Kirsten is taken apart and bleaching in the sun with acne cream and plastic wrap. In the meantime, her eyes will get repainted. Updating soon!
how do you do her eye paint and put her eyes back in without damaging her! please help

It’s actually a long and difficult process to take out the eyes and repaint them. I would need to do a detailed post or video on the subject.

I’m curious to see the restoration you managed to do on this beautiful Kirsten white body. Did you do it? did you take pictures ?
